Job description:

Scientific Research Services within the research project “Liminal Whiteness: Rednecks, Hillbillies and Crackers in American Culture", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG); organization of project-related workshops, conferences and publications; research on an independent project with the aim of obtaining a PhD in the field of American literature and culture since the 1960s, with a focus on Southern Studies and Critical Whiteness Studies

Requirements:

Masters degree or equivalent in American Studies; experience with organizing workshops and conferences
